Which programming languages are supported by Conferendum?

You can integrate Conferendum into any intranet, independent of the programming language in which the intranet has been written. Conferendum provides sample integrations for most programming languages such as PHP, Cold Fusion, ASP.net and Java.

How can I integrate Conferendum in my intranet?

For a quick integration you only have to add three lines of Java Script to your intranet page. If you want your intranet to manage all features, Conferendum provides integration templates which you can adopt according to your requirements.

Can I define the size of the conferencing window myself?

Yes, you can embed the conferencing window within your intranet and you can set the size, position and color of the application window yourself.

Does the intranet have to manage the profile pictures?

No, you have the choice of taking the profile pictures from your intranet or having Conferendum manage this service for you.

Which data are saved by Conferendum?

If your intranet does not manage the profile pictures, Conferendum saves those pictures together with a user-id. If you record a conference the recording is saved on a secure Conferendum online archive.

How does the integration work?

Conferendum recommends starting with a fast integration. With a fast integration the intranet only manages the user login and rights. The whole process of starting, joining and recording conferences is managed by Conferendum. In a second step you can adapt the integration to your needs and manage e.g. the conference archive via your intranet, you can place conference links on the first page of your intranet to promote special events etc.

Can I integrate conference dates into my intranet calendar?

The Conferendum API allows you to manage via any intranet application all conference features (starting, joining, playing conferences, archive, logins etc.). You can therefore also embed buttons to start and schedule conferences in any online calendar.

Can I also invite external participants to a conference?

Members of your organization can, if the administrator has granted them the rights, invite external participants to a conference. The administrator has to ensure that the page which includes the conferencing window is accessible without a registered session.

Which ports do I need to enable in my intranet?

Conferendum uses the Port 443 TCP (HTTPS).
