As a trainer you can set up an online event and define the price for the session yourself either on a per minute base or on a per event base.
Charge per minute:
The participant’s pay only for the time they stay in the conference. They are charged the per minute price from the moment they enter the conference until they leave the event or the trainer closes the conference room. You can set the price in the range between 0.01 Dollar (€) (non-profit event) and 0.50 Dollar (€) per minute and participant.
Charge per event:
The participants pay a onetime fee for the session which can range between 1.00 (non-profit event) and 30.00 Dollar (€) per class and participant. The participant is charged the full amount five minutes after he enters the event. If a participant leaves the conference within the first five minutes he or she is not charged anything.
There are no registrations, set-up or monthly costs. Conferendum simply keeps a 25% service fee of the revenues generated with your online classes. If you don’t run any online training there are no costs for you.
The service fee is 25% of the revenues you generate with your online trainings but always a minimum of 0.01 Dollar (€) per minute and participant or 1.00 Dollar (€) per event and participant. Please note that if you run an event at 0.01 Dollar (€) / minute or 1.00 Dollar (€) per event (non-profit Event), your account will not be credited as the revenues only cover the minimum service fee.
The revenues you generate in an event are credited on your Conferendum account 48 hours after the event. During this time the participants have the possibility to request a refund.Once a month the whole balance of your account is transferred to your PayPal account as long as your account balance is above 10.00 Dollar (€). The PayPal fees for transferring your balance to your PayPal account are born by you.
A non-profit event is an online lecture for which the trainer does not get any income by setting the lowest possible price of 0.01 Dollar (€) per minute or 1.00 Dollar (€) per event. In this case the trainer does not generate any profit as the price of the event only covers the minimum service fee and therefore no revenues are credited to the trainers account.
When you sign-up as a trainer you have to define if you want to run your account in Euro or US Dollar. You can still set the price for your trainings in both currencies, but all payments you receive will be converted in the currency of your account (the PayPal fees for converting currencies are born by the trainer). E.g. you set up an event an event for €10 and you set the USD price at $12. Depending on the currency the participant chose for his account he will see the price in Euros or US Dollar. If you run a Euro account and the participant runs a US Dollar account, his payment will be converted into Euros and credited to your account.
The participants receive after each seminar an e-mail report with a button for a refund request. If a participant believes that he should get his money back he can send a refund request by clicking on the “Request refund” button. The trainer can now decide if he wants to accept or to reject the refund request. Please note that, in certain cases, Conferendum can accept the participants refund request even though the trainer rejected it, if we think that the request is justified. In that case the revenues for this participant are not credited to the trainer’s account.
Log on to your portal and click on “Online Events” and then on “Create new event”. You can now enter the title of the event together with an invitation text which will be displayed in the invitation e-mail which is automatically send to the participants who sign up for your event. Set the price for your class in EUR and USD. Both currencies will be displayed to the participants. Click on “OK” to set up the event. You will now receive a confirmation e-mail which includes the event registration link. You can also click again on “Online events” and then choose the event you just set up to get the invitation link, to send out reminder e-mails or to check how many participants have already registered.
You can either go back to the e-mail you received from Conferendum when you set up the event and click on the “Start now” button or you can log on to your portal, click on “Online events” and choose the event you wish to start. In the menu on very left hand side you can start the event by clicking on “Start conference”.
