How can I sign-up for an online training?

If you found a class you are interested in, just click on the provided event registration link. Enter your name and e-mail address and click “OK”. Once you have registered you receive a confirmation e-mail. If you have enough credit on your Conferendum pre-paid account you can join the class at the scheduled time by clicking on the “Join now” button in the e-mail. If you don’t have any credit on your account you need to upload funds to your account first. How can I upload funds to my Conferendum pre-paid account?


How does the payment work?

As a participant you have a pre-paid account with Conferendum. You need to upload funds to this account in order to be able to participate in any online event. How can I upload funds to my account?

The price of each event is shown in the confirmation e-mail you receive from Conferendum after registering for the event. The registration for the event does not trigger any payment! If the event is priced on a per minute base your account is charged as soon as you enter the event but only for the time you stay in the conference. You can leave the conference at any time and you will only be charged for the time you stayed in the conference.

If the event is charged on a per event base you are charged the full amount of the online class after five minutes of participation. If you leave the conference within five minutes you are not charged anything.


How can I upload funds to my Conferendum pre-paid account?

If you want to join an online training you need to upload funds to your Conferendum pre-paid account. If you don’t have sufficient funds on your account you cannot participate in the online event.

Every time you sign up for an online class you receive a confirmation e-mail with a button that allows you to credit your account. Simply click on that button to start the payment process. You need to have a PayPal account to credit your account. The minimum amount you can upload is $/€ 10,00.

Please note that uploading money to your account is independent of the event you want to join. You are uploading the funds to Conferendum and not to the teacher. Conferendum keeps your money and only passes on the price for the class to the teachers account when you join the meeting.


How can I request a refund from the trainer?

After each event you receive a conference report via e-mail. If you believe that you should get your money back from the teacher of the online class, you can request a refund. Click on the “Request refund” button in the e-mail report and add a message which will be sent to the teacher. Explain why you think a refund would be justified. It is at the discretion of the teacher to accept or reject your refund request.


How can I get the remaining funds back from my Conferendum account?

You can use your Conferendum credit with any online class which is run via Conferendum. Your account credit does not expire. If you still want to get back the remaining credit from your account you have to contact Conferendum at support@conferendum.com. An additional $/€ 5 will be charged as handling fee for sending back your account balance and all PayPal fees have to be borne by you.
